Fresh look at a classic… Great writers have left us with characters that still exist today, it is simply their backdrop that has changed. PROUD IZA is a contemporary retelling set in New York City of "The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant. First published in 1884, the stirring story of greed, pride, and vanity has become one of the author’s most popular works and is notorious for its surprise ending.

The film is a portrait of the Novak family: the results of the marriage between the farmer Novak and a townswoman of German descent, their children and their tragic fates and the life of Andrej - the Novaks' only surviving child. Andrej recalls the days of his youth and the wartime years, in which the family slowly breaks up due to different political beliefs and world-outlooks. In addition to the loss of many members of his family, Andrej must also face the fact that his father has disowned him and his girlfriend left him. Despite all, however, he keeps alive his hopes of a better future, which, to him, is embodied by the beautiful Iza.

Locked in an austere country house, headstrong and spirited Alice yearns for the freedom of the forest. But as Alice discovers the power of seduction, it is more than just her desire that is awakened… Adapted for the screen by Laura Scrivano. Based on Noel Coward's Alice Is At It Again.

In this look at Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), aka Lewis Carroll, Dennis Potter mixed biographical drama with a psychological profile to explore the roots of Dodgson's creativity. Dodgson tells stories to ten-year-old Alice Liddell, leading to recreations of scenes adapted from ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND (1865), designed to resemble the original Sir John Tenniel illustrations.

Unable to meet in the city, Alice and Alex embark on an emotional journey of love and loss.

Alice's journey of inner discovery as she grapples with the difficulties of her daily life: family, work, love, friendship. Once she discovers that she can trust others and ask for help, Alice manages to come out of her shell and mature. In this way, she gains self-awareness, understands her desires beyond appearances, and, above all, psychologically emancipates herself from the figures she venerates, discovering that they are lonely, frustrated, and as afraid of life as she is.

A young man works night shifts at a bodega so during the day he can date his middle school crush in a lucid dream.

Written in 1865, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was a popular success. All British schoolchildren and their parents knew about the escapades of the young Alice. With a new score by Philip Glass, a figurehead of American minimalism, choreographers Amir Hosseinpour and Jonathan Lunn reimagine and reinvent Lewis Carroll's fantastical world. Freed from the original narrative, the dancers of the OnR Ballet play a new gallery of contemporary creatures and characters, joined by actress Sunnyi Melles.
